Tempos verbais relativos ao passado: simple past e past continuous.

 Aula 1

Motive seus alunos perguntando:

1)- Do you like photos? Do you have photos?

2)- When/Why do you see photographs? 
Respostas variadas.

3)- When do you take photos?
Respostas variadas.

4)- Who usually appears in your photos?
Respostas variadas.

Sugestão: Se preferir, escreva as perguntas no quadro e comece respondendo. Exemplo de resposta para a questão 2: “I see my photos when I want to remember a good event in the past.” 

Tenha fotos suas que você possa mostrar aos seus alunos. Neste momento, descreva uma de suas fotos favoritas.

Observação: As fotos acima descritas são meras ilustrações do que deve ser feito na atividade.
Depois de apresentar suas memórias através de fotos, peça aos alunos que apresentem as suas fotos favoritas. Incentive-os a realçar quem são as pessoas, onde estavam, o que estavam fazendo, etc.

Esclareça que, para descreverem fatos no passado (memórias), será necessário que saibam os tempos verbais: simple past e past continuous.

Se necessário, passe o vídeo mais de uma vez. Incentive os alunos a responderem:

a- What is the theme of the music?
Resposta: The author is talking about his/her memories. 
b- Which are the places that appear during the video? 
Resposta: The place where He/she grew up. 
His/ Her old school.
c- Who are the people that appear during the video?
Resposta: Kim – the first girl He kissed.
Some friends.

Depois, corrija oralmente essas questões. Se achar necessário, retorne ao vídeo e mostre as respostas.

Assim, divida a sala em grupos. Selecione alguns trechos da música e peça-os que identifiquem qual(is) é(são) a(s) memória(s) descrita.

Exemplos de trechos que podem ser trabalhados:

Peça que apresentem quais foram as memórias identificadas em cada trecho escolhido. É interessante que seja feito um círculo, dentro da sala, para esta apresentação.

Cada grupo deverá mostrar qual foi a memória, descrita na música, presente no trecho. Pergunte para cada um deles: Did you have na experience like that? (Você teve uma experiência como esta?) Se a resposta for afirmativa, peça que relate para a turma. Neste momento, o aluno deverá se comunicar em inglês, o máximo possível.

Aula 4

Nesta aula, é sugerido que os alunos montem um álbum de fotografias. Este álbum deverá conter legendas, que serão as descrições de cada foto.

Sugestão: monte uma exposição com o trabalho feito pelos alunos.

Uma forma de avaliação oral desta sequência pode ser o debate em torno dos trechos retirados da música Photograph.

Em relação à escrita dos alunos, observe a construção do álbum, o uso dos tempos verbais no passado e se a descrição feita pelos alunos foram detalhadas.
